New PSU needed ?

Have , happily, run a Riotoro 850w Enigma G2 psu for 4 1/2 yrs from new and not one problem.

Have swapped various parts (cpu,hd, memory , motherboard and gpu ) without any issues - last change being from 6800xt to 7900xt

Current specs are - 5900x + 32gb 3600 ram + 3 m2 ssd's + 7900xt housed in a fractal torrent case with 2 180mm fans at front, 3 140 fans at bottom (all intake) and 1 140 fan at rear (exhaust). - it all runs very cool (air cooler Noctua NHD-15 Chromax)

However 2 /3 days ago was playing The last of us part 1 when it dawned I realised that the game was no longer running - in fact my system had turned uitself off. Would not turn back on so switched off at plug , left for a few seconds, then restarted - all seemed ok until I tried playing Last of us again when after loading the game (more or less) my pc turned itself off (switch off power and restart appeared to semi fix ). Tried another game Hogwarts legacy - it got the point of nearly loading but then 'all off'.

I believe that my problem is my psu - your thoughts? Recomendations for a new psu (850 gold minimum)?

p.s. I have a 1000w Leadex psu which I have transplanted in and , so far, no issues BUT it is getting on
 
Have not had any issues with the leadex so have formed the opiion that it is the psu at fault. But why now and not before??

Like the look of the Asus TUF Gaming 850W Gold psu - currently out of stock unfortunately.

But no rush as yet :):)

Quick update - replacing the Riotoro with the Leadex has cured , it appears , the problem .

I need a replacement for the Riotoro (keeping the leadex as a spare) but have decided to go for 1000w - any rec's ?

I did submit a query to riotoro - have not had a reply!!
 
How old - not sure : I would estimate 7/8yrs BUT it has not been used for the last 4 1/2 yrs.

I appreciate that it , allegedly ,has a 10 yr warranty but tried their contact text system - no joy at all !!
