Hi All,
I am currently doing a new build for a media pc using my old gateway M/b and intel quad Q6600 with 8gb ram.
I have an Asus Xonar HDAV1.3 sound card to put in and a gtx 275 graphics card. and i have a small 60gb SS drive. (as most of it will be run/streamed over a network)
However my only concern at the moment is the power supply. i was in ****** yesterday and picked up on offer (£50) a G7 power extreme 880w.
however the 2 doubts in my mind are.. is this going to be ok and reliable?
and does it have the right/ enought connectors on it?
its all still sealed etc and looking on the back of the box it has the following
1x main 24 (20+4_ pin connector
5 x peripheral connector (4 pin) (looks like the round circular 4 pin)
1x floppy connector (4pin)
n/a - ATX12V 4 pin connector
1x EPS12V (4+4) pin connector
4 x s-ata connector (5pin)
2x PCI - Express connector (6 pin)
what do you think guys will this have enought connection (im just thinking aswell for the gtx275) and what do you think of the PSU
any help/ advise be appreciated
