new psu problem

hi
ive just bought the first part of my upgrade its a 600 watt be quiet dark power pro . i was keeping the same case so i fitted it into my old system replacing my winpower 550 watt . tried to boot up and all that came on was the mobo lights and the psu fan . i dont know if its me done something wrong ( its modular ) or its borked

maybe you have plugged the sata cables and pci-e cable in the wrong places on the psu.

there are 4 black connectors for h/drives/ cd rom etc and there are 2 blue connectors for pci ex . i just cant see what im doing wrong

You probably have bumped something loose while swapping out the PSU. I would suggest you to re-insert all your cards, then try again.

i put my old psu back in and it poewered straight back up

right try your new psu again, if it doesnt work again, rma it.
