New PSU Questions - Dual Card Setup

Morning All,

I'm looking to upgrade my currently PSU which is Platinum Series 860 Power (SS-860XP2) as I am looking to move to ether a dual Vega or dual 1080 Ti setup and running through various calculators it seem to recommend PSU's a 950w or better.

So I am currently looking at ether:

Seasonic Prime Platinum 1000w - SSR-1000PD
Seasonic Prime Platinum 1200w - SSR-1200PD

What are the opinion here for a dual card setup or recommendations?

Just bought the superflower leadex gold 1000w for my dual setup to replace my seasonic 1050w that let the smoke out.

I have two heavily clocked 980tis and along with the rest of my system maximum power draw was 806 watts when benching. Pretty sure thr 1080 is less power hungry than the 980tis so you be fine with 1kw.
