new psu won't resume from sleep

Pretty sure this is a psu fault so I thoughtbibwoukd ask in here first..

Just fitted a warranty replacement coolermaster G650M PSU to my PC, I was running a corsair cx500m as a temp unit perfectly fine.

The new PSU seemed to be running fine, til I tried putting windows to sleep.. The system would go off perfectly fine, but when I attempted to resume with either the keyboard or the power button I get a split second spin of the fans then it would be dead. No response at all until switching the main PSU switch off and back on. Then the system would restart

The fault goes away when the corsair PSU....
 
I had similar symptoms on an Enermax Liberty PSU a few years ago. It suddenly started failing to resume from sleep after being fine for months, the whole PSU refused to turn on at all shortly after that.

RMA time unfortunately, but at least you have a spare PSU for the meantime :)

this is a brand new warrenty replacement psu.. only a few weeks old if that!

the one it replaced started cutting out randomly getting more and more frequent til i couldnt even post... pretty shocking quality control and customer care tbh
