Hi Guys
I said I would have a look at a PC for someone in work. Basically the pc works fine apart from PSU which makes a loud noise, like a ticking noise. At first thought it was a wire hitting the fan, but its not as it got a lot louder after moving the wire,so is probably faulty. Anyway thought it was cheap enough to just buy a new one. Bought a cheap 450w as its just a home pc, though it did have a 9800gt in it. It won't start for more than a split second, all fans turn and then nothing. I put the old one back in and still works. Have I just been unlucky with the new PSU?
