New PSU

Hi guys. Inherited some old parts from a friend that I'm gonna use as a htpc.

It will only be used to run xbmc and the occasional web browsing.

Only thing I need is a psu.

As I said, it's old kit.

Lanparty gf9400 motherboard
4gb ddr2 ram
250gb hdd

No optical drives as i have a blu ray player.

Not looking for anything expensive. Just something that's going to do the job well.

Hybrid modular would be nice if poss.

XFX 550w/450w - decent and semi modular, would link but can't at the moment, quick search will see you right.

Are you sure they are semi modular and not fully wired?

Lol XFX 450/550W are fully wired, doesn't alter the fact they are still great little units

Rather than make a new thread, I could probably do with a new PSU (see system in sig) currently my 530w is doing fine however i want a nicer GPU in the future with the option to SLI how big of a wattage would i need to stay comfortable(and safe!)

pref to have modular or as modular as can be

seems the XFX is highly recommended. it being fully wired isnt an issue really, just means i'll need to get the cable ties out
