Hey guys! I need a quick help with choosing a new PSU for my rig. Before I lay down my options, max price around £80-85, needs to be quiet (I'm replacing my current Seasonic M12II Evo 750 due to it sounding like it's about to take off :( ) and handle this setup:

- Gigabyte 990XA UD3
- AMD Phenom X4 965 BE @ stock 3.4GHz (soon to be replaced with FX-8350)
- Corsair XMS3 12GB DDR3 @ 1600MHz
- MSI Twin Frozr 3 7950 (running 2 screens)(possible cross-fire in the future)
- SB X-Fi XtremeGamer Fatality Pro
- OCZ Agility 3 SSD 60GB
- Seagate Barracuda 2TB
- WD Caviar 500GB
- LG DVD-RW

If I've missed any parts let me know.

The PSU's that I'm currently looking at are:

- EVGA SuperNova 750 G2

- be quiet! Power Zone 650W

- Corsair RM Series 650W

Which one do you think would be best from the list given? Or maybe there are others out there that you'd recommend?

Agree with Stulid, the EVGA for the money, and with that 10 Year warranty has to be the best choice around at the moment. It's based on the Superflower Leadex gold platform.

The 10yr warranty was what really grabbed my attention. I was just slightly worried about the noise since I read that the G1 version wasn't the quietest one around.

How about one of these?

Superflower currently produce some of the best units around. Would recommend 750w+ for crossfire and allowing for possible upgrade of the 7950 to maybe a 290.

Wow backlit connectors for that price? Now that's interesting..Yeah I think 750w would be more beneficial for me at this stage. Although some people say that 750 can handle some 3-way cross-fire and that 650 would be more then enough for 2 cards  .

You would imagine that the EVGA will have exactly same fan noise as Superflowers own Leadex range, it even has a hybrid mode where the fan doesnt spin until it reaches a certain temp.

I think it's running in fanless mode until it hits something around 350-380w (not sure how it is temp wise) from what I've read. Anyway, EVGA it is. Appreciate a quick help guys! Thanks! :)
