Hi Guys,

I'm looking for a new psu to replace a xfx xxx 650w bronze edition one thats coming up 5 year old, previously when overclocking old system, it would blue screen after a few minutes or upto an hour later and now looking back i'm thinking it's because the psu couldn't handle it.

Therefore i'd like to purchase a new one, i've been looking towards the EVGA, Corsair, Superflower ones but as opposed to picking one at random that sounds good i'd like some advice from you guys if possible :)

Will be running an i5 6600k, multiple hdds/ssds/fans, 16gb ddr4 ram and a msi 970 (with the possibility that i might be adding a second 970 in a little further down the line too).

Budget around £130ish

Thanks for any help ! :p:)

I doubt it would be the psu. The XFX XXX is a good quality Seasonic made unit. Even at 5yrs old it should still be outputting more or less the same wattage.

You can probably get away with the 750W version of the EVGA G2 though if you want a new unit or another XFX (XFX XTR 750W).
