So last weekend I joined a couple of BMW Bike buddies to go to the local(ish) BMW 1200 GS launch party. Being 5ft2 and having an inside leg not much longer than the length of a 2 week old... I knew the 1200 wasn't within my grasp!

But then I saw her across the show room.. Apparently Andy has never seen me move so fast towards a bike.. I've currently (until tomorrow) got a BMW F800R, but now I after dropping the deposit and signing paperwork I now own this beauty below... BMW F700 GS. Its the original bike I wanted (well I wanted the 650) before I bought the 800 Roadster.

She has been factory lowered and has a low seat, heated grips, ABS, Traction control, LED lights and will come fitted with Panniers and my Satnav too.

I cant wait! Please please snow hold off! I've just got to figure out how to get from Chester to Old Trafford with no sat nav now..

Nice bike, and I do like how BMW do the petrol tank on these, but they do look starnge without a belly pan.

Thanks all. I'm very excited! It only has 1.8miles on the clock, gotta run her in.

Thanks for the link :)

Take it back, they've put the chain on the wrong side so god knows what else they've buggered up on it.

Nice bike and one that was on my list of new bike choices.

Sweet ride.

Get yourself over to the forums I linked now & post an intro thread & get booked in for some runs out. They'll be drooling over that beast. :D

That's one nice bike, I still need to try an adventure bike out been meaning to for months!

Thanks guys :)

I'm made up! I always wanted a GS but was too short lol. I'll have a look at the OCUK bike rideout and see if I can do it.

Gonna hit that bike forum 4T5 :)

Pug, the dealer is near Lexus, Skoda and Mazda, the opposite side of the motorway junction to Cheshire Oaks.

They wanted a £1k more than Manchester :)

And thanks

This bike looks bad ass, I haven't even done my CBT yet let alone my full licence but when I do I wan't a bike like this. Really nice!.
