Yes its coming.

It hasnt been officially announced yet. The developers have said it would be stupid to not have it come to consoles. So PS3 and Xbox 360 but after the pc version is out.

Some of the design decisions do sound console friendly to me. Like the maps being designed around 24-32 players as thats the 'sweet spot'. Which is what Battlefield 2 Modern Combat does.

I think the 24 players thing has them ready for consoles. BF2 in comparison has 64 player designed maps that scale down to 32 and 16 players. Not console friendly. But if you think about it. Battlefront 2 sold more than BF2 because of the PS2 game. Even if hardly anyone went online. So i think they want to exploit that market.
