New RAM + OC = nono

My Geil PC6400 decided to die on me after running for 6 months, and this isn't the first set to die so i called it quits and orderd some nice shiny OCZ PC8500.

At first it was fine, running for hours at 2800Mhz (E6300) with the RAM at 1000Mhz (+0.4v) so that would be 2.2v.

However, just had a string of BSODs.

Now i can think of 2 things... its the RAM or maybe a Codec i just installed to play FLAC files (Ogg Codec).

My mobo is a DS3, chip a E6300 and ram is OCZ SLi PC8500.

Any ideas/settings i should try?

Run Memtest86+. It won't be affected by any dodgy Windows files.

Aye, already have that planned... plus im going to run it on the other 4 sticks of GEIL i have.

And i have uninstalled the Ogg Codec.

Sigh... stupid PC's
