New Ram + Overclocking

I bought a set of Kingston HyperX Beast 16GB 2400MHz from OCUK the other day. I have never really messed around with memory clocks before, but my system has by default run this at 1600MHz. Do I basically just need to go into BIOS and change this to runat 2400MHz?

What are your system specs (just to confirm you are able to run at the recommended speed) if your on a Intel system pop into the BIOS and load the XMP file which should setup the correct settings for the ram.

I'm running an Asus Maximum VII Impact - 1150 Socket.
