System specs are:

CPU - E8400
GPU - 8800GT
MB - Gigabyte - P35C - DS3R

Had 2 gig of corasir ddr2 installed and bought this to upgrade to 4 gig:

OCZ Platinum 4GB (2x2GB) DDR3 PC3-10666C9 1333MHz Ultra Low Voltage Dual Channel Kit

And when installed my gfx card throws up errors, including BSOD or i get 'the driver stopped working and recovered' notification.

I have the latest drivers and even reinstalled them, but to no effect so i have put my old ram back in and all works again.

Is my system wrong for the ram or is the ram damaged or something else?

All help much appreciated.

/thx

Sounds like faulty ram, download mem test and run, this will hopefully show any problems.

I've had 2 sets of ocz go funny on that board but that's just bad luck (had another set running 3+ years without issue). Still, I'm 99.9% sure low voltage ram isn't supported anyway. Lowest voltage is the default of 1.5 (at least that I've seen) but that shouldn't matter.

Tbh, I'd suggest retuning the ocz and getting http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MY-203-CS&groupid=701&catid=8&subcat=1517 or http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MY-104-GL&groupid=701&catid=8&subcat=1517 which will run happily at 1333.
