New Ram stuttering

Hi all,

I've installed some new ram but now have a nasty issues where my in game FPS is halved and I have massive stuttering.

Prior to doing this I set my bios to default removing any overclocks and running things as stock - fault was present.

I then manually set the ram speed to 2400 - fault was present.

I then set the XMP profile so the ram was set to run at its full 3200mhz/cl16 speeds but again, same fault.

The stuttering is present all the time not just in game. Just moving the mouse around you can see the cursor jump and stutter.

Its some Corsair Vengeance Pro ram, 16gb on two channels.

I've verified I have them in the correct slots and tried each stick on their own and resorted back to my original ram which then works perfectly.

Any ideas?

I haven't no. What's the best way to do that? I will add, this is a replacement pair of sticks but is behaving in the exact same way.
