Looks very nice and good mhz etc but never heard of the makers.

Would you say it is safe to just buy it?

There is no need for that much money on ram, also why a 580?! More mhz on ram just basically means more money, wont be anything real world performance wise.

With the ASUS board if you want premium grade RAM get Trident X 2666mhz by GSKILL it clocks unbelievable.

Samsung does perform well. But if you have the money and you want the best go GSKILL.

what g skill would you recommend to fit under a nh-d14?

Trident X fits with the top fin removed go for the 2666mhz 8gb Kit it clocks seriously well.
