I have not long finished my new build! At the moment I had some new and spare tri channel G.Skill Sniper RAM kicking around, I had bought for my old i7 920 last year, but never used. (9-9-9-24 1T @ 1.35V) I have stuck two of the sticks into my system, dual channel mode.
The RAM seems fine and I am quite happy with it. However on reading this article, I feel a RAM upgrade is now definitely on the cards!, considering I have an i7 Haswell CPU.
I am leaning towards the TeamGroup Extreme RAM, it seems like very good RAM indeed, either this kit or this kit at the moment, they seem identical as timings and voltage are the same, the only difference appears to be heat sink colour and the Frost Edition ones are also about £6 cheaper!
I take it these will work fine with Haswell and my Sabertooth motherboard through Intel's XMP?
Any thoughts or suggestions greatly appreciated!
