Yeah it is unless you go for 1600Mhz.

yeah already brought a 4790k a few months back, but one of my Corsair Vengeance Pro sticks has stopped working since my daughter accidentally spilt a drop of juice on it,

yep and rma the mobo as well as the slot doesn't work either and pc will turn its self back on, but that be next week,

Luckily it was successful
Sent my ram off 1st class Friday morning and received my replacement ram today (Wednesday)
very fast turn around for Corsair and a very happy customer,

Just need to figure out the best kit to use now to wipe the paste of my
CPU and H100i so I can send my Gigabyte board back :confused:

I brought this ram but only using one of the two sticks,
Once I get my new mobo I'll let you know,
Just a shame I didn't wait as 16Gb Corsair vengence pro 2400mhz was on a special offer at £99.99
and the vulcan look cheap compared to them,
