Controlling the fans on the F4XT is done individually via the touch buttons on the front of the controller. The attached fans can be controlled in three steps: low / medium / high with the LEDs indicating which step is selected for each fan. The LEDs can be turned off. Also on the front of the panel are two USB ports for your convenience.

AeroCool are well know for producing some of the best fan controllers around and the V12XT helps to confirm this. Similar to the Touch 2000, the V12XT offers the ability to control up to four fans via a well thought out LCD touch panel display which shows the RPM of each installed fan. It also shows temperature readings of the four supplied temperature probes. These probes are to be placed next to or on critical components like the CPU and GPU heatsinks as well as items like hard drives and any other component that requires to be monitored. With that fancy pants last one, are the audio connectors extensions to the MB or audio card or is there a USB sound controller on-board so these are a separate Windows sound device?

Guessing its just extensions to the MB or Audio card, same for the usb and esata
