Lo all, Time has cometh for a new rig, been trying to get upto speed on the latest spec stuff, but there is so much to catch up on. I'm slightly paranoid about getting the wrong memory and gimping my rig etc =/

Anyway, this is what I've selected so far:

GX-018-BG BFG GeForce 7900 GT OC 256MB GDDR3 VIVO TV-Out/Dual
CP-126-AM AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core 4200+ (Socket 939) - Retail
MB-118-AS Asus A8N32-SLi Deluxe nForce4 SLi X16 (Socket 939)
MY-079-CS Corsair 2GB DDR XMS3200C2PT TwinX (2x1GB) CAS2
HD-046-WD Western Digital Caviar SE16 250GB 2500KS SATA-II 16MB
CA-005-HP Hiper HPU-4K580-MK Type R 580W Modular ATX2.2 PSU - Black UV
CD-036-LG LG GSA-4167BRL 16x16 DVD±RW Dual Layer ReWriter (Black)
CD-025-SO Sony CRX320EE CDRW/DVD Combi Drive (Black) - OEM
CA-010-TT Thermaltake VA3000BWA Tsunami Dream SuperMidi Aluminium Tower - Black

Is that the right memory? Is there anything you would do differently. Hopefully you can tell that the aim is for a high spec gaming rig. I'm sold on the idea of Dual Core, as I use two LCD's and usualy have too damned many apps running alongside the games.

Thanks for your time.

Valor.
