Hi all
Long time no post. With games like Crysis 2, Dead Space 2 and BF3 (later) coming out, I wanted a new rig. I went a little OTT tbh - okay, a lot OTT - but I always have done
Anyway, just ordered and getting this tomorrow. Will take me a day to build, based on previous experience. This will include building/testing outside of the case and then putting it all away
Having just seen a youtube video about the HAFX, I see that it is a monster
i7 2600K with Gigabyte P67-UD7 mobo and H70 with 2xScythe 1900rpm
2 x 6970s HIS in crossfire (planning on another 450 for PhysX soon)
64GB (OS) and 128GB (Games) Crucial RealSSD 6Gb/s SSD drives
2 x 1TB F3s storage and 2x Sony Lighscribes (SATA)
Vengeance 1600MHz 8GB (2x4GB) kit
Asus Xonar D2 PCI with Speedlink Medusa 5.1 headset
HAF-X with 3 x Antec Big Boys
1250W Enermax PSU (>90% eff.)
26" Iiyama 1920x1200 monitor (1 for now but two more coming once get bigger desk!!)
G19, Attack 3 joystick, Coolermaster CM Storm Sentinal + Coolermaster battlepad mouse mat
Not a truly original build - having read other threads where people bash builds that are not made of lego or cheese - but it should be fun to use
I'll post some pics tomorrow
Thanks for looking
