Hi All,

Can someone have a quick look over the above build and confirm its all good? I had a concern over the ram but I guess I just enable XMP 2.0 and off I go?

I've already got most stuff, KB,Mouse, OS, Case but I am looking for a half decent PSU to power all these goodies, can anyone provide any recommendations? Would like fully modular if poss with either gold or platinum rating and under/around the £100 mark. Could possibly spend a little more if were talking about a real gamechanger PSU. Worth noting that ill also be installing a 1070Ti when the crazy prices drop. Other than that just a few RGB fans and Strip lights! PSU calc is coming out to below 500w mark but would like a little more in case I add a few things at a later date.

My basket at Overclockers UK:
Total: £863.92 (includes shipping: £0.00)

Cheers

Ive found the Corsair RM series PSUs to be good - you can get the RMx 650 in budget I think.

Might by worth considering a larger m2 drive - I found my 250 disappeared extremely quickly with the size stuff seems to be getting now, and ended up having to add extra SSDs to cope with modern games

Thanks for the replys guys.

I will look at both the PSU's suggested, i see the Seasonic ones get mentioned a lot and with a 10yr warranty they must be good.

For my games and content I've got a 4tb secondary drive so I was hoping that would be enough...Maybe

I had considered a 1080 before mining pushed the prices up, I'll be happy to wait until April as I have a card I can use. What's the specs of the new cards looking like, where will they fit in the current range?

Can anyone confirm this RAM will work?

Cheers

Two "ifs": If they do release new cards, and if they follow the recent pattern, the new XX70 would be similar to 1080Ti, and the new XX80 20% or so faster than XX70. i.e. 970 was similar to 780Ti, 1070 was similar to 980Ti. Things this time around could be a bit different though, with memory prices high, and not much competition from AMD.
