hi guys, just built myself a new rig and have got a BFG 8800gtx oc card, i've just gotta say it's huge!!!!

I read the install guide and read it needed extra juice by way of two extra plugs. I looked at my psu and it doesn't have those type of connectors so I had to use the two supplied adapters.

Each adapter comes with two connectors (like the power plug for a dvd-drive) so I've put a 1 plug from the psu in each adapter, is that enough? or does it need 2 plugs per adapter?

the rest of my system spec is:
intel quad core qx6700
asus striker extreme mobo
hitachi 500gb hdd
4gb ddr2 pc8500

in case that helps

also will a 600w psu cope with all that? or will i need a bigger one?

thanks folks

Needs 4x molex's plugged into the adapters, your PSU should cope fine as long as its a decent brand (not a Q-Tec :p ), and can supply about 28a on the 12v Rails (which you can find on the sticker thats on the side of the PSU). :)

Yeah probably the best PSU's you can get those, everyone raves about them on here, and that price is a steal now, im sure they used to be £70+, brilliant price for a top quality PSU. :)
