Check your CPU/GPU usage in real time with Rivatuner's Harware monitor!

That way, you're going to have a better idea what's bottlenecking what :)

I've been doing that since I upgraded recently, and it's been a real help.

What I've realised: hardly anything touches an e7500 at 3.5ghz right now... ¬_¬
(not that I'm going to try and run GTA4 on it, haha)

itll only be making so much difference as the bechmark is very low res remember. If your were running it at nice high res youll get yourself gpu limited instead of cpu limited. try vantage at 2560....bring my machine to its knees :(

X13093 3DMarks :( although that was on the 185 beta un tweaked.

But on the performance setting (P25160 3DMarks), ocing my gpus gives me maybe 10 points, ocing my cpu gives much better overall results. But im still gpu limited in certain games, and not cpu limited, well, at least up to 60fps. I can get closer to 30k, but my oc isnt stable with all 4 sticks of my ram in, so i run it at stock most of the time, since the extra ram is nicer than the cpu overclock.

But yea, get the advanced edition and run at higher res, then you can see the improvement your gpu oc gives.
