New rig..(Mobo/CPU/Ram)

Hi guys

Well I need a new set up...currently at amd 3000 64 1gb crucial and an asrock 939 dual got a 7600gt too

Pretty strict budget of £175 for those 3 and I think it is do-able.

Intel Core 2 Duo E2140 "LGA775 Conroe" 1.60GHz (800FSB) - Retail

The new Asrock P965 mobo coming out soon.

GeIL 2GB (2x1GB) PC6400C4 800MHz

What you think? ..Is it a huge jump from what I have already? Cheers.

Go with a p35 chipset over the 965, the p35 is a replacement for 965 so if you got a 965, yes it would be an upgrade but an upgrade from one dated machine to another

Cheers....What about for overclocking? Will it get to 350fsb so I can get about 3ghz...

P35 mobo's are clocking as good as if not better than the 965.
