ok, my athlon xp2400 finally gave in on me...so i think i time to sort out a new system.

I already have mouse, keyboard and monitor.

Would love help with a new spec.. Am looking for dual core, with as much speed and storage as i can afford... not worried about graphics just yet but will want to purchase a graphics card later (when i can afford it).

thanks very much in advance...

Slighty over budget, but a very nice rig.

You'll need a mobo with on-board graphics then..?

think it would be best for now, i have my old ati radeon piece of trash graphics card, which i suppose i could use... but i think onboard would be best until i can get a decent graphics card.... it will only be a matter of weeks apart.

I'd defo get the Lian-Li PC-7 PLUS Aluminium Midi-Tower Case - Black

Fair play, but for a budget system, there is nothing wrong with the antec. If you go down the PC-7 route, you then need to consider a PSU, which will add at least £30-40.

Could you really not use your current graphics card or even wait for a couple of weeks? The P5B really is the best board in that price range.
