Hey everyone here is my new rig!

Looking for thoughts, and maybe some upgrades... perhaps swap the noctua for h110 in the future? for a better look.

Ps Ignore the Crisps :P

Your choice, but I'm not really sure why you would swap out a Noctua D14 for a closed-loop liquid cooler that costs £92. IIRC the Noctua is pretty much as good for cooling and runs quieter.

As for the look of it, I really can't pass judgement - my approach is that PC components are best not seen or heard.

You mention other upgrade opportunities, may I ask what the full spec of your machine is?

Yeah I love my Noctua and was just thinking on people's view cause so many people say it's ugly... Maybe I'm an odd one but i prefer the look of the Noctua :)

Specs - Intel 4670k with a Noctua NH-D14
16gb G Skill R Trident-x 2400mhz cl10
480GB Seagate SSD
3tb WD Red NAS
Corsair Air 540
Gigabyte G1.Sniper
Corsair Hx850 PSU
Qnix 2560x1440 monitor
Sapphire Tri-X 290 OC 4gb

I miight change the 140mm fan, or add another 2 120mm fans in the roof. The only other thing i was thinking of is moving to a 4770k, but I'm not sure if it's worth the extra.

Looks like you have a very nice rig there, not really much you could add to it that would make a big difference.

If you don't already have one you may want to consider a fan controller bay. This will allow you to set your case fans so you can judge the best balance between noise and cooling.

As you probably know, there isn't massive performance difference between the 4670K and 4770K in most games, however there does seem to be some noticeable benefits to the extra virtual cores in a few games. Therefore, if you do want to make that upgrade then I would suggest waiting for the new Haswell-refresh CPUs and boards to arrive, as there will almost certainly be people willing to dump their 4770K for the latest-and-greatest (where you can buy them cut price second-hand).
