Good day gentlemen (and ladies too), your wisdom please. Is the a well balanced system for HD casual gaming /productivity...

I'm planning a new rig to replace mine, which is going to replace my wife's aging Athlon 64 x2.

Current rig is:
Bitfenix Outlaw
Asus M4A77T mobo
Phen 2 x6 1055t (kuhler620 push/pull)
GTX 460 GS 2gb
8bg
1tB + 60gb HDD
(All 120mm fan slots filled with arctic cooling f12 managed with Nesteq FanMax)

More than enough for my wife to play WoW and Diablo3...

New rig proposal on £800ish +VAT (Buying through work)

Bitfenix Shinobi Core Black with orange blings
i5-3570(k) probably won't be overclocking
Asus P8H77-V mobo
Kuhler 620 push/pull (works very well with the above rig...)
XFX 7970
OCZ Agility 3 240 Bootdrive
1tB data/app drive (already in possession)
(media is already on NAS for DLNA)
OCZ ZS 650 PSU
8GB (2x4) corsair vengeance 1600
Akasa fans and 6 channel controller 2x FN062 4x FN057

I've been in IT for a few years and building PC for many more, but gaming rigs aren't IT so any ideas/advice are welcomed...

Change your SSD to Crucial M4, Samsung 830 or wait til the deal on Kingston V+200 that starts tomorrow.

ya, stay away from the agility 3, and dont get the h77 mobo, get the z77, i know you say you wont overclock, but it isnt all that hard to get an extra 1ghz from the 3570k (and you have a pretty decent cooler too!) a quick google should bring up a tutorial on how to oc

+1, you might aswell go the little extra now in case you feel adventurous in the future!!

well having a quick glance at the prices, the z77 isnt that much more expensive than the h77 anyway, bout 5-8 quid? lol
