Two weeks ago, my new rig began been acting up. Firefox, xfire and more have been randomly crashing and I've gotten multiple BSOD's. An obvious culprit would be my overclocked cpu, however, my temps are ok and all the crashes have occurred during very easy going use like web browsing or even looking at .txt files in one case.

Bare in mind, I had my new rig for two months with no problems at all. This specifically started two weeks ago.

System Specs

OS : Windows 7 64-bit Home

CPU : Intel i7 920 overclocked to 4.0ghz
GPU : ATI Radeon 5870 (updated to latest drivers today, still had another BSOD 5mins ago....)
RAM : Corsair XMS3 x 6gb
HD1 : OCZ Vertex SSD 60gb
HD2 : Samsung F3 1TB
Sound Card : X-fi Supreme2
Motherboard : Asus Rampage2

Link below contains dmp files for all BSOD's over the last two weeks.

First run prime95 for several hours and see if you get any errors, if you do clock it down alittle or increase voltage, you might want to try memtest86 also as it could be a memory problem.

Do these random crashes happen if you drop clocks to stock?
Only specific bit pattern might trigger problem making full system load irrelevant.

And what makes you think graphics card has anything to do with them when half of the time file system driver crashed?

Ten hours.
Small FFT can be used for stressing only CPU, large FFT and blend stress also memory+memory controller.

I've figured out that one of my RAM sticks has been in the process of going kaput (system only recognizes 4 instead of 6 now so it's completely gone). By process of elimination I figured out which one it was and have taken it out. No more bluescreens anymore.

Going to post in the appropriate section to figure out if I can get the bogey stick replaced. My order was in feb so I assume I'm still under ocuk warranty.
