Replace Samsung with Seagate or Western Digital
Do you need 500+GB straight away? Why not just buy a 320GB single HD for now, then add another when you're out of space? From the other thread Raptors don't seem that fast. What's your monitor? Could just get X1900XT/XTX for now and see how that fares.

Personally I would just buy a new GFX card for your one in your sig...more than good enough.

Everything looks fine there. I think the only thing i'd change would be the 250gb samsung drives. The new Seagate 7200.10's are seriously fast according to reviews and should do nicely in that expensive rig ;)

I was going to run the Samsung drives in RAID but I think I may just go with 1 SeaGate 7200.10 300GB instead.
My monitor is an HP f2105 @ 1680x1050 resolution

I would go for single XT/XTX card for now...playing games here fine, just Oblivion a bit low (bit that's a demanding game anyway)

COD2, Quake 4, Doom 3, Fear all fine.

I'm pretty sure you'll be aware of this but I'll say it anyway, you can't just designate any X1900 XT card as a mastercard, it actually has to be a Crossfire/Master edition, so if your not certain, make sure that is what your getting :)

Yep, I am aware of that, but thanks for pointing it out anyway. :)

Well I think I will change the Spinpoint HDD's for 1 320GB Seagate and go and place my order.
I will post again once I have built the system with some oc'ing results and benchmarks.

Cheers
