intel Q6600 or E6600? (suggestions on coolers welcome...)

or should i ditch the above idea and go am2+ with a phenom?...

was also thinking of getting this ram unless someone has a better suggestion?... (just cause i like the funky heat sink ) http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MY-089-OC&groupid=701&catid=8&subcat=817

Don't get a phenom tbh, I'd go for the q6600 over the e6600 the difference in price isn't that much really.

what are you going to be using the pc for?

can't go wrong with a tuniq tower to cool your cpu (well you can, if you don't check that it will fit first =p)

gaming mostly... and so i can give my old rig to the wife and little un so i can actually use my own pc again! (the wifes always on ebay and the little uns always on nick jnr...) :)

current rig is asus m2n32 sli deluxe/ amd x2 4600+/ 2gb geil ddr2 6400 ram/ 8800gtx. onboard sound and gfx will suffice for their needs, so im keeping the 8800 and x-fi for the new rig.... also might add another 8800gtx at some point, hence the OTT power supply. :p
