Welp, time to get a new rig methinks. Budget ~£1500-2000, could go over if it's worthy though. What I would be wanting (unless persuaded otherwise) is a G-sync monitor (27"ish) and obviously nVidia card, capable of 4k gaming at 60fps - is that a thing these days? Not too fussed about VR (or should I be?)
Other things I was thinking about was water cooling. Never even looked at it before, but is it easy enough to put together? Is it silent running? General price difference for an entire water cooled setup vs the typical stuff?
Happy enough slapping the usual kit together and modifying from there, but thought I would post here for general ideas first. Still happy with the G910 keyboard and G700s mouse, onboard sound handles 5.1 surround these days too right? Can't remember the last time I bought a sound card.
And lastly a mouse mat. A nice comfortable mouse mat without cat hair and human skin cells (only skin...).
