After 2 months of deliberating.. Ive decided to take the plunge and get a new rig!!!

This all started because of the Opteron frenzy over the past months, when I had, and took the oportunity of getting a 146 CABNE 0545BPMW (maybe not the best week, but Ive still seen nothing but good results with this particular release).

My choices are:

DFI LanParty NF4 SLI-DR EXPERT Want to get the best out of my Opty 146 CABNE... hoping for stable 2.8ghz!!

Mushkin 2GB DDR XP4000 Redline Extreme Performance These seem to be the best clockers, and tight at DDR400 next to the Ballistix, but hopefully, a lot more stable!!

Have potential to reach and exceed DDR560

PSU FSP Sparkle FX600-GLN Epsilon 600W Good cable management is a must, and plenty of connection options... although am also considering going modular.

PowerColor ATI Radeon X850 XT 256MB Getting this as a stop gap, until Nvidia release new cards in |March, and then sell this on... Have thought about X1900XT, but want to keep SLI option available...

CoolerMaster Stacker STC-810 Great airlflow.. and plenty of space!!

Arctic Cooling Freezer 64 Pro Read some great reviews, especially in custompc... although Im not entirely convinced... so may opt for XP120 & YS-Tech and fan controller.

Anyone got any thoughts, suggesitons, alternatives....

Hoping to order on Monday :)

Before anyone says I wont get very far without hard drives... going for the Raptor 150gb, but will sell my Raptor 74gb to help finance the disk upgrade!!

Looks good but i really would suggest the X1900XT - great price (Nvidias new cards are going to be priced much higher) & performance.
With this card you wont need to worry about SLI.
Besides as so many people who want to later go to SLI, by that time theres a single faster card out, so you sell the original & still beat SLI performance buy getting the next gen card. Always a more sensible option.
