I am ordering tommorow :D

Q6600
8800GTS or a 2900XT
havent decided which mobo yet, probably one with a I35 chipset
Crucial Ballistix 2gb 800mhz 4 4 4 12
Thermaltake Armor LCS (with watercooling)
2 HDDS
2 DVD/DVD RW

How many watts do you think I need for all these? Can you recommend any good PSU's?

Something like Seasonic M12 Modular 500W PSU or the Corsair HX520 would be perfect for that rig :)

You been using PSU calculators?

Yea I'm sure, if you want some extra piece of mind the Corsair HX620W will take on that rig easy, but yea, HX520W is fine :)

I did,and the result was 505 if I remember correctly which didnt seem normal to me.Did I mention that I will OC in the future? That 620 Corsair looks ok,are you sure its enough?

PSU calculators are garbage, some guy on the forums, had a 2900XT (sucks more power than a GTX, only 50W more than a GTS like), and an E6600 at 3.4 or 3.6, and his rig only used like 360W.

Yes, I'm sure, I am running the following spec in my sig on a Corsair HX520W, if I put a Quad Core in I'm sure It will be fine.

The 520w would be fine. But i would get the 620w for coverage of later additions and new cards that may suck a lot of power.

Same, the 520W will run it np's but if you want it future proof and piece of mind then get the 620W even though graphics cards & cpu's are being designed to use less power so i still think the Corsair 520W will be enough for now and the future.

I'll second that. It's a great PSU. If you can justify the extra cost for that little bit more peace of mind then the 520W then it's well worth it.
