New Rig Wont Boot!! HELP - Switch/fuse?

I just installed all my parts, and my computer turned on the first time I tried it. Now it doesnt turn on at all. I press the switch and it doesnt work. The psu is a good make and works perfectly. Why is this!!

check switch on PSU

try another power cable.

re-seat all components.

say if the chipset had burned out, would the mob light still be on, as the chipset fan was unplgged for like 3 secs as i didnt notice it

The mobo light goes on to indicate there is power going to the mobo but so if the chipset has died the light would still be on.

I would be very surprised f the chipset has dies because the fan wasn't spinning for a few seconds, there are a lot of mobo's that have a passive chipset.
