Hi All

Sorry for constantly pestering you all for your opinion, hopefully I've got a well rounded rig planned now, just wondered what peoples opinions are, especially on the power supply.

Good point on the memory. Yeah I have a dvd rom/rewriter/case. I've changed the power supply to the 700w as well.

Is this backwards day or something? I'll go get back onto my power efficient pentium 4 and fire up a HDDVD.

In all seriousness - one of the many good things about PCP&C PSUs is that they won't go bang, and don't cost that many bucks :)

Sorry what? The PSU is good.

Of course the 4870X2 is much better than the 4870, but it depends at which resolution he will be gaming at.

IMO there is no point spending money on hardware for what is essentially a dead socket.
