I have just upgraded my broad with Virgin Media to 200MB, They are sending me out the Super Hub 2ac.

I currently use my own router which is the Asus RT-N65U which is not ac. Do you think it will be better to use the Super Hub now rather than the Asus router?

I'd stick the Super Hub straight into modem mode and use the N65U. It'll save you changing any network settings.

If it can't keep up with your upgraded broadband try the Hub on its own.

It's really going to depend on the devices you're connecting and whether you're using any features on the N65U that the Super Hub doesn't support.

I've not had a single problem with the 2ac, running 200mb also. I'd probably just used the 2ac, considering its only phones you'll have to change over.

My Asus RT-N65U is 4 years old still good for what it is I think butbut signal strength is not too brilliant and no ac

I have the super hub 3. I instantly turned it to modem mode and using my TP link.

Mostly because the super hub cannot handle my server port forwarding for external internet access.
