Hi all.

Been a long time since I bought a router, so was hoping for some advice here.

We have a fair few devices being used regularly in the house and since we bought a new tv, streaming on iplayer etc. is common and I don't think the current router can cope. It's getting on a bit now :)

Current provider: Sky (8mb I think)
Devices used: iPad, iphone(s), laptop(s), ps3 (all through wireless)
Budget: up to £100

Have been told to look at the 300mbps wireless routers, but unsure which one to go for.

Any recommendations would be great.

Maybe Billion BiPAC 7800N 300 Mbps 4-Port Gigabit Wireless N Router can be had for around £100 new off the bay

The new Asus firmwares let you assign one of the LAN ports as a WAN/FTTC port. I have both routers.

The Asus feels quicker on LAN, but I'd say Billion have better engineers working on the firmware.
