New router advice

hey am on talktalk fttc and was wondering what router you would advise to replace the modem and hub tat that is messing up my living room?
I have to say i don't really understand fttc compared to adsl and have no idea what is required. AC wireless is required and no real pricepoint in mind it just needs very strong wifi signal

I use an ASUS RT-AC66U running on Merlin firmware with Sky FTTC. No complaints at all, signal is strong and setup is very easy. Flawless imho.

so guessing the ac68u is the updated version of this?
