Have recently for a couple of months had intermittent internet issues, certain webpages cannot be loaded then 2 minutes later if I try again they load some website images don't load and I give it two minutes and try again then they do then another website which was working originally will work, must be some sort of setting which isn't correct.

Had a new router sent from AoL/Talktalk (Confused what ISP im actually with!)
When I install it everything is fine apart from receiving Internet access and when I do the diagnostics it says something along these lines (Cannot establish PPoE IP address) now I believe the router is set to do this automatically but still no joy.

Echo Life HG532 is the model of the router.

Will appreciate any help

You need PPPoA, that's probably it.

https://www.broadbandadvice.org.uk/Website/Routers/HG532.htm - How it should be set up, you might need to put your username and password in somewhere.

Edit: This thread here is probably more relevant. http://forums.thinkbroadband.com/aol/3280837-aol-settings-pppoepppoa-mtu-etc.html
It helps a bit to know which ISP you're trying to connect to!

Tried those settings, When Dialing method is on Auto I get no luck when it's changed to On Demand and I press Submit it flicks the internet light on the router green for a split second then straight back to red.

Anyone know what steps forward I could take from here, Well it's an AoL router originally been with AoL but the settings are talktalk which is also some of there call centres as I believe they have been taken over.

Oh and to make everyone who reads this aware, My old router works so there is definitely internet coming through my line. But the reason im changing is due to what I posted above and hopefully sort it out.
