Hey guys,

Finally had enough of my old Billion 7800n after I'm steadily encountering an issue with the wireless in that when I turn it off, latency is fine (for example, DIII got 64ms ping) and then when it is on, and the more devices connect to it, it starts to crap out, with latencies of 400-1000+ (once even saw 2000!). Since it goes away right after I disable the wireless, and I made sure none of the devices on the network were doing mass downloads, I'm figuring it is the router.

Just wondering what was good to replace it with these days?

I was looking at the Asus RT-AC68U and saw it is quite a fancy bit of kit, problem is I would have no modem then, so if that router is great, what modem would be great to pair it with?

Cheers. :)

Update:

It was my Iphone causing the massive latency. I have no idea why.

Still looking for suggestions!
