My Router is on the blink, I think that my Ethernet port has died, I cant either ping it or gain access. I have been without my internet for a week now, and I think that I am having withdrawal symptoms, hehe.

I am gonna need a new router, and as I think that the advice given in this forum is really good, could someone possible suggest one.

Budget £100

Something wireless with Great security and Speed. The wireless functionality does not really matter that mush as I wont be using it that often. The Speed and security are vital though. I really don’t mind complicated technical setup.

The ones I currently have in mind are the Linksys, due to their merge with Cisco. I have read a couple review and they seem OK, and not really great. So I was just wondering if anyone has any good suggestions.

Thank YOU

Do you have cable or ADSL?

You can pretty much ignore the Cisco/Linksys thing as they're run as very seperate companies. Much like Ford own Aston Martin but that doesn't make a Mondeo into a DB9 :)

That said, Linksys Cable Routers are a very good coice.

Bond's driving a mondeo in the new film, so perhaps not too far off.

Linksys kit seems okay to me, especially with modified firmare
