Just been reading about this and while this seems to be a step in the right direction there is a bit about brake discs which is a bit concerning:

"Other changes to the MoT test include the addition of a check for reverse lights, while brake discs will be inspected to see if they are “significantly or obviously worn”, as well as taking in current checks for oil contamination of the disc, and how securely they are attached to the wheel hubs.

I service both the cars in our household and have always removed the disc retention bolt because it very frequently seizes up and it's the roadwheel bolts which hold the disc in place.

Does this mean both our cars will now be an mot failure?
