I seem to have some issues with the new version of Safari being slow painting pages and using things like the search box on this very website. Anyone else having issues?

As an example I click the search function above and it takes several seconds for the search box to expand and build out.

Yeah, my Safari is acting very similar and has even crashed.

Just freezes dead for a few seconds when editing my bookmarks.

Suppose it is just sit and wait for a fix to be released.

Search is snappy for me on this forum. Not experienced any weirdness with the new version come to think of it.

Give Safari and reset and see if that solves any issues. Mine has been very slow and sluggish lately and that seemed to solve it for me.

Also, started using Webkit nightly builds again and they seem a lot less buggy again and a lot faster.

Safari definitely seems a bit pants since Mavericks. For example, when I use forums, if I click back, rather than just go back, it reloads the whole page. Which can get annoying especially if it's a content heavy page

I was going to use Safari as a main browser now Keychain is built in, but I think I'll stick to Chrome

It's been doing this well before Mavericks, sure there will be an option to turn it off.

On my ipad 2 safari top bar colour has changed from translucent clear white to solid dark black.
Unknown why that occurred, can't seem to find where to change it.
No doubt a simple setting, but i didn't change it from earlier today.

Been smooth sailing for me since the GM version of Mavericks as well.

In fact it works better than Chrome and Opera 18, as their rendering engines keep crashing on Mavericks.
