New Samsung LCD range...

Does anyone have any further info on the forthcoming Samsung LCDs? There's no mention of them on the CES section of the Samsung site - and the only info i can find is on Engadget: http://www.engadget.com/2008/01/06/samsung-intros-new-1080p-lcd-hdtvs-ethernet-interactivity-inc/

I've been looking at getting the 52" LED backlit LCD - but knowing that these are on the verge of being released - i'm thinking of waiting

Hi there is thread on avforums about new Samsung range i dont think any will be coming until end of March through to May.

LOL, you mean it's in german.... sorry but i had to since i am from Austria...

on another note, i like the looks and features of the new screen... perfect for when i am ready to buy one for my new home...

Time for a bump

I've been hunting for a 32" 5-series, mainly because of the USB connectivity.
Anyone got one of these set yet?

I've got a 46" Samsung 6 series on Saturday, it's great. Great black levels, even tho it isn't LED backlit (I think). Anyone know if it will do 1:1 pixel ratio?

Just seen your post - My 6 series has a USB connector, and I can view digital photo's from my mem card. The photo's look nice in 1080p. Is there anything else that you can use the usb port for?

I haven't tried video yet, any idea on what file format I would have to use? MPEG? VOB? I've had a quick look in the manual and it didn't mention anything about video from usb...

The USB is there Primary to update Firmware I would guess (same as Sharps).
