Hi just received my monitor yesterday from OC, well i have been using it fine, but when i rebooted today it decided to install some bluetotth drivers, well i disabled the bluetooth on board my Asus P8P67 board as i had problems with the drivers from the install disc.
So i decided to go into the bios to check weather they are still disabled and now the bios screen is just displaying the top left 1/4 of the bios screen in full screen like a realy low res!
I am connected by an HDMI lead as im waiting on a display port lead so i don't know weather that will solve the syptoms, any help apreciated.
Its fine in windows just in the bios it does this.
Regards

Different cable may help but did you simply try to do it again or toggling the monitor off/on? My Hazro has done the same thing after turning it on, only get a part of the screen (covering the entire screen), turning it on/off fixed it. Changing the resolution back and forth did the trick as well but that's a bit hard to realise in the BIOS :P. Only happened like 3 out of hundreds of times though.

Hi tried that and disconnecting lead and setting source to manual but stil the bios screen is like that, at what point do the display drivers load? with this monitor you have 2 drivers on the disc 1 for HDMI and 1 for Display port i have installed the hdmi one.

Just switched over to my other samsung 27" diff model and the bios is fine, strange so looks like a monitor setting not driver im confused.

Well just found this on a forum even though the bios does work fine on my other Samsungs,
"Maybe same issues when it comes to P8P67 and HD 6000 series video cards. The EFI BIOS does not display correctly in a HDMI monitor, you can only see it in a VGA monitor. YES IT SUCKS! we did not buy those good video card for VGA monitor. I already mail ASUS, no reply yet. If you have time try mail same concern to them. "
I have the same mobo and an HD 6970 so perhaps doesnt like HDMI on this model monitor in bios i am getting a display port lead but bit bad, by what people are saying it maybe Asus fault as they are aware of issues.
Thanks

Well now i find the 3D glasses are broke does it get any better one lense broke with all leaked LCD. I phoned to see what was the deal on returning thanks "Bailey" looks like i might have to return the whole thing, im umming and arring as i know RMA returns can take a while and im impatient so might have to bite the bullet and buy new 3D specs!
So im hoping Display port lead will solve my problems then i will probably keep otherwise it will be an RMA.
Thanks
Guy
