New SATA HDD

Hi there,

Got me a new Western Digital Caviar 320GB SATA-II HDD delivered this morning and having a little trouble with it. It's installed fine, BIOS recognises it as does the Device Manager, but the drive doesn't show up in My Computer.

I'm presuming the SATA drivers are installed as it's showing up, so what could be the cause of this?

Running alongside this SATA drive is two 200GB IDE drives and these are showing up fine.

I'll go try find a Floppy IDE cable in the mean time incase I have to install the drivers

Start --> Settings --> Control Panel --> Administrative tools --> Computer management --> Disk management

Find the disk and format it
