So as the title indicates im new to overclocking and scared as all **** incase i break my computer, the main problem is this just goes over my head.

the reason im overlocking is because my gpu is being bottlenecked by my cpu and i dont have enough money to go out and buy a new cpu, and that why im here i need help. i need to get as much as i can from my cpu my specs are:

Specification looks ok, except for choosing the bulldozer chip over anything by Intel.

Overclocking is relatively low risk. If you change settings nearly at random then don't bother stability testing then it'll go badly. If you make reasoned, conservative changes and test things then you'll be fine.

With all the tact I can muster - are you dumb or ignorant? You can fix ignorance. If you're stupid, then it would be sensible to leave the computer at stock speeds.

yeah ive been told that my cpu is ****** but when i got that i was new into building a pc and i saw afew people saying good things about it so i got it.

and on the am i dumb or ignorant? part well i chose that cpu so there is something :P and i guess in my grand opinion im ignorant i lose interest after a while even tho i shouldnt but its just that this all goes over my head i mean learning about upgrading was abit difficult for me and i dont know anyone who can do this for me(what friends have that know how to oc either cant because of family issues or they arent in the country) and i dont know of any places that will do stuff like this is my city or if maplin will do it for me.
