Looking for a monitor, 22-24" + needs HDMI DVI etc and sound is also essential, 1080P or more???

I will be doing quite a lot of gaming on it, using it to watch movies (MKV etc) from my media player hard disk hence the need for hdmi and speakers.

The graphics card is a 2gb 6970.

As for my budget I would hope to get something for around/under £200.

Thanks

This monitor doesn't have any speakers (though it does have a 3.5mm audio-out so you could connect some) - but this is a 120Hz refresh rate monitor, which also supports 3D with a HD 6950 graphics card, comes with a DVI and HDMI input and costs under £200 (after you claim the VAT back from samsung) - which is pretty great deal. With the VAT reclaimed the total cost will be £187.5 (before delivery). Please bear in mind that you can get some cheap, separate speakers that would plug into the 3.5mm stereo connection for £17 - and these speakers produce sound quality FAR better than any speakers you will find built into a PC monitor.

If you absolutely need a monitor with has built-in speakers (2x2W) then this monitor is a decent one (though only 60Hz, not 120Hz).

If you're going to watch movies with the sound from monitor speakers.. you're ruining your own fun. They're nowhere near comparable to those used in TVs and basically not made for purpose for anything other than the basic windows sounds so you know an alert window or something popped up.

Thanks guys

Sorry for late reply, I went for the Samsung as suggested, brilliant monitor, I hooked up external speakers also.

Looks the business, and the VAT back deal. Thanks for the help.
