Hi All
I'm looking to replace my trusty old 22" Samsung (1680x1050), but what I would ideally like doesn't exist, so I'm wondering what is likely on the horizon or whether to just buy something else.
I'd rather not go above 24" and would prefer 1080P, I might be okay with 1440 but would rather not have to upgrade my hardware as often to game at that resolution. Ideally I'd like Freesync, and IPS would be nice, basically a 24" 1080P version of the Asus MG279Q would be ideal.
Anyone think anything like that could appear at any point, I'm guessing I might be out of luck as everyone seems more focussed on 27" and 1440. Though I'm thinking if I wait there may be some decent Freesync alternatives.
My alternative thought is to purchase a AOC G2460PQU which is on offer for £180 this week and seems decent for the price, its the size and resolution I want, and is 144Hz which I'd like. Wondering if they might do a Freesync version of this if I wait, as they've done a Gsync one.
